Charities We Support

Children's Chance - www.childrenschance.org

Children's Chance was formed on September 25, 1996 by two mothers who had daughters battling cancer. The organization was started to fill in
gaps among the current services provided for pediatric cancer patients and their families. Children's Chance exists to assist children with
cancer and their families throughout the state of South Carolina with non medical needs. Children's Chance raises money to fund a variety of
programs to meet the financial, psychological, and emotional needs of the pediatric cancer patient and their families.

Knucklehead Charities - www.knuckleheadcharities.org

Knucklehead Charities is a non-profit charitable organization committed to helping build America’s future through today’s youth by providing a safe, positive environment for underprivileged children to experience and enjoy a lighter side of higher education. Knucklehead Charities sends underprivileged children to Purdue University Athletic events so they can share in the excitement and exhilaration of being part of a community dedicated to the pursuit of excellence with integrity. It is our goal that those children carry that dedication forward in their lives and their many future endeavors.

Pat Tillman Foundation - www.pattillmanfoundation.org and www.patsrun.com

The Pat Tillman Foundation was created by Pat's family and friends, following his death in April 2004. As a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, the Foundation's goal and mission is to carry forward Pat's legacy by inspiring people to make positive changes in themselves and in the world around them. The Foundation supports the Leadership Through Action program in Arizona, where he excelled as a student-athlete at Arizona State University and as a fan favorite with the NFL's Arizona Cardinals.

Pat Tillman's friends and family created Pat's Run as a way to celebrate Pat's passionate legacy while raising awareness and funding for the Pat Tillman Foundation. Perry Edinger, Pat's friend and former head trainer for Arizona State University, initiated and developed the concept of a 4.2 mile run/walk around Arizona State with a finish on the 42-yard line of Sun Devil Stadium (#42 was Pat's number while a Sun Devil). Perry wanted the event to be something physical, outdoors, and open to all saying, "With Pat's Run, people are motivated to exercise and do something positive for themselves, while honoring Pat's memory, sharing their stories and ultimately being an inspiration to others."

Upcoming Pat's Runs include Saturday, April 19th, 2008 in Tempe, Arizona and Saturday, May 3, 2008 in San Jose, California.
